New Honda 7-Seater Launching
According to industry sources, the Japanese automaker is working on a new 7-seat SUV. This model will be underpinned by the brand’s new PF2 platform. Honda has not shared any major details regarding this new platform; however, we expect it to underpin mid-size SUVs and support multiple powertrain options, including ICE, EV, and hybrids.
While this new 7-seater is currently in the drawing room, there isn’t much information available about this new SUV yet. We expect this SUV to be positioned above the Elevate in Honda’s lineup. This new Japanese 7-seater will likely go up against the Mahindra XUV 7XO, Tata Safari, and the upcoming MG Starlight-based SUV in India.

Moreover, it could also carry the 1.5-litre NA petrol engine from the Elevate, which could help achieve a lower base price.
