Interestingly enough, Renault claims to have sold out all its stock of the Duster hybrid even before the prices are out.

Renault India has officially confirmed the launch timeline of the new Duster hybrid for the local market. The French automaker will announce the prices of the Duster’s hybrid derivative on 17 October.
The invite goes on to say, “Dear diesel, thank you for the ride. We will take it from here.” This launch will mark the debut of the company’s ‘Hybrid E-Tech’ technology in the Indian market. Notably, it will be the third powertrain option for the brand’s compact SUV, of which the current offerings include the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol and the 1.3-litre turbo-petrol units.
Coming to the Duster hybrid, this new version will be powered by a 1.8-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine paired with two electric motors, developing a combined output of 162bhp and 172Nm. This will be the fourth hybrid offering in the segment, after the Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, and the Maruti Victoris. The Duster hybrid will be available exclusively with an automatic transmission.
