In terms of design, QJ Motor SRV 600 V2 adheres to the American Bobber motorcycle silhouette. It follows a stripped-down lightweight design philosophy. It has retro elements like round headlights, circular LED turn indicators and a teardrop-style fuel tank. QJ Motor calls it a symphony of Sport and Style. Colour options are Grey and Black and the one seen in India, thanks to automotive enthusiast Shubham Sharma (@mr.jr_7), is the Black colour.
LED elements inside the circular headlights are squarish in shape and there is a circular LED DRL surround around it. On the fuel tank we can see a black element along with ‘Viatic’ and ‘always forward’ lettering. SRV 600 V2 branding can be seen on side body panels. Even though this is a bobber, it has a pillion seat which could be removable.
There is some tastefully done chrome highlighting as well which lends a sophisticated look. We can see these chrome highlights on the engine, wheel, air box and on the bar-end mirrors. QJ Motor has listed two different power figures for the motorcycle – 47.6 PS and 50.3 PS. There is only one torque figure, which is 53 Nm. A 6-speed gearbox does transmission duties and the promised range from the 16L fuel tank is 400 km.
Cycle parts include USD telescopic front forks, twin rear shockers, a 320 mm front disc brake, larger 360 mm rear disc brake, dual-channel ABS, 1,555 mm wheelbase, 16-inch alloy wheels on both ends wrapped with 130/90 front and 180/65 rear tyres. A circular colour LCD instrument cluster is present too. When launched, immediate rival could be Royal Enfield Shotgun 650.
With a strategic collaboration with Hyderabad-based Aadishwar Auto Ride India (AARI), Qianjiang Group is offering QJ Motor, Benelli and Keeway motorcycles in India. AARI is running the dealer and service network for these brands along with Zontes and Moto Morini via their Moto Vault showrooms.
