The study done in the Department of Physiology, Faculty of Ayurveda, Banaras Hindu University Institute of Medical Sciences revealed the miraculous power of "Pushkarmooladi Kwath" in treating this problem. When this traditional medicine is used in conjunction with normal treatment, it helped to cure the patients successfully, making shortness of breath disappear.

The first 20 patients got only modern treatment, while the other 20 patients took the same treatment but also the above-mentioned medicine for three months. All patients underwent regular check-ups and follow-ups every month.
After three months, the study revealed that the number of patients with severe shortness of breath in the group receiving only modern treatment decreased from 31.6% to 5.3%, while the number of patients with severe shortness of breath in the group receiving Pushkarmooladi Kwath decreased to zero. Similarly, the number of patients with severe palpitations decreased from 63.2% to 10.5% in the group receiving modern treatment, while the number of patients with normal palpitations decreased from 61.1% to 11.1% in the group receiving Pushkarmooladi Kwath. However, the number of patients with normal palpitations increased from 33.3% to 61.1%.
