A trial court rejected his anticipatory bail plea on August 11, prompting him to approach the High Court for relief.
He observed that because of such irregularities in public exams and recruitment, people were losing faith in such processes.
"Public is losing faith in the system of examination.
We have seen so many meritorious students commit suicide in that NEET (because of NEET paper leaks).

Justice S Vishwajith Shetty today noted that the allegations raised serious concerns. He observed that because of such irregularities in public exams and recruitment, people were losing faith in such processes.
"Public is losing faith in the system of examination. We have seen so many meritorious students commit suicide in that NEET (because of NEET paper leaks). So many. What mistake have they made? What have they done? What is the loss that the family has suffered? It's not the question of just the result. There are so many issues that people are not able to come forward and answer. These things should be put to an end. Then and there, they (accused) should be arrested," the judge remarked.
