Peddi had a very good second day at the Telugu box office, with the film collecting Rs. 30 crore approx on Thursday in India. This marks a 63 per cent drop from its opening day, while just under 50 per cent when excluding previews. The drop is about as expected, especially with the second day being a Friday and not a Saturday. The two-day running total stands at Rs. 110 crore approx, with the four-day weekend expected to be around Rs. 180-185 crore.

The Telugu states of APTS contributed Rs. 23.75 crore approx for the second day biz. This compares well with films like Kalki 2898 AD and Pushpa 2, both of which were around Rs. 27-28 crore, while being well ahead of Rs. 19 crore of They Call Him OG. In Coastal Andhra, Peddi actually outperformed both Pushpa 2 and Kalki 2898 AD, grossing a superb Rs. 10.75 crore approx. The gap with Kalki 2898 AD came primarily from Nizam, while the film also trailed Pushpa 2 in Ceded.
With this second day, the film is now going to collect at least Rs. 140 crore in the Telugu states over the four-day extended weekend. On the high end, it could move towards Rs. 150 crore. From there, it is certain to hit the Rs. 200 crore mark. How much higher it goes from that will depend on how well it trends in the next seven days or so.
