Pokémon GO’s 10-year anniversary celebration continues with the Ultra Unlock: 10th Anniversary Edition event taking place Tuesday, July 21, at 10:00 a.m. to Monday, July 27, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. local time. Party hard with rotating event bonuses, wild encounters with first partner Pokémon, Pokémon wearing party hats appearing in raids, and Willow’s Birthday Research.

Unlocked Research

Willow’s Birthday Research will be available July 21, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. local time. As part of this research, a new costumed Pokémon—Professor Willow’s assistant Pikachu—will appear in Field Research, Timed Research, snapshot surprises, and raids. Event-themed Field Research tasks will be available, and Trainers who complete this research will earn Poké Balls and encounters with event-themed Pokémon.

Additionally, Masterwork Research: Glimmers of Gratitude, will be available for US$4.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency). To gain access to the Masterwork Research, Trainers need to log in to Pokémon GO during the event. Research can be completed at any point. Trainers who have already completed the Masterwork Research story Glimmers of Gratitude won’t be able to access this research.

Unlocked GO Pass and GO Pass Deluxe Rewards

Trainers will automatically receive GO Pass: 10th Anniversary on July 21 at 10:00 a.m. local time. Collect GO Points to rise through the ranks, earning rewards along the way, through July 27, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. local time. From July 25 at 12:00 a.m. to July 27 at 7:59 p.m. local time, there will be no daily limit to how many GO Points Trainers can earn. For US$4.99 Trainers can upgrade to the GO Pass Deluxe for upgraded rewards and faster progression. The GO Pass Deluxe + 6 Ranks is available for US$6.99.

GO Pass rewards include a 10th Anniversary Tee (Yellow), Golden Lure Module, encounters with event-themed Pokémon, and more. GO Pass Deluxe rewards include a Golden Lure Module, additional encounters with event-themed Pokémon, and more.
