OnePlus N6x battery
OnePlus has updated a microsite on Amazon teasing the OnePlus N6x. The microsite confirms that the device will carry a 7,000mAh battery. A step down from the previous model, the OnePlus N6, which carries an 8,000mAh cell. The company also claims that the N6x's battery can last up to 2.5 days on a single charge.
The Chinese company also revealed that N6x’s battery can deliver up to 20.56 hours of video playback, up to 133.56 hours of music playback, up to 25.04 hours of social scrolling, and up to 11.26 hours of video recording.
What we know more about OnePlus N6x
In terms of specifications, we still know very little. The device is confirmed to feature a 120Hz refresh rate, the only information we have about the display. On the colour front, the N6x is set to come in two colourways: Ice blue and Burgundy Red.
Unlike the OnePlus N6, which features a square-shaped camera module, the upcoming OnePlus N6x adopts a fresh design language. It comes with a flat frame, a flat rear panel, and a vertically aligned pill-shaped camera module positioned in the top-left corner. The LED flash sits outside the camera housing, giving the rear panel a cleaner look.
It remains to be seen whether the OnePlus N6x will borrow the N6's hardware or feature a different processor and camera system. Since the launch is scheduled for July 31, OnePlus is likely to share more information over the next few days.
