Obsession collected Rs. 3.75 crore on its second Thursday, closing its second week around Rs. 37.15 crore gross. That's 43 per cent bigger week when compared to the opening week, which is a phenomenal growth. Allied to its first week of Rs. 20.85 crore, the running cume of Obsession reached Rs. 58 crore gross at the Indian box office.
Directed by Curry Barker, the horror thriller is expected to see a promising spike in the third weekend as well. The movie should collect Rs. 13 to 15 crore in the coming weekend, which will take its total cume closer to the Rs. 75 crore gross mark.
The Michael Johnston and Inde Navarrette starrer has the potential to smash over Rs. 90 crore in its full run, with an eye on the Rs. 100 crore mark too. However, it won't be an easy task as there are multiple Bollywood and Hollywood releases throughout this month.
