Congress MP KC Venugopal on Thursday said that all the Opposition parties have decided that they would not engage in any discussion before Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigns.
Except AAP and DMK, all parties had agreed to the Opposition stance.
The Opposition’s decision comes amid the students’ protests raging across the country demanding Pradhan’s resignation over the NEET paper leaks.
The government, however, said it wants to discuss the matter in Parliament.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said: “The government is ready for a discussion on the NEET issue.”
