A team of the National Investigation Agency (NIA), accompanied by personnel from the CRPF and Jammu and Kashmir Police, conducted searches at two locations in the Handwara police district on Saturday morning.
An official said searches were carried out in the Khanpora Babagund and Vodhpora areas as part of an ongoing investigation into an alleged overground worker (OGW) network.
The NIA also searched two residential houses in Bijbehara and Dooru in south Kashmir as part of the investigation, the official said.
