Toyota Kirloskar Motor has introduced a new Urban Cruiser Hyryder Aero Black Edition, adding a sportier appearance to its midsize SUV. Unlike a new variant, the Aero Black Edition is a dealer-fitted styling package available for a limited period at Rs 31,999. The package is offered with the Midnight Black colour option on G and V variants of both the Neo Drive and Strong Hybrid versions.

The Aero Black Edition focuses entirely on cosmetic upgrades, giving the SUV a more aggressive road presence with a series of black-finished exterior accessories. The package includes a front grille upper garnish, front spoiler, headlamp garnish, tailgate garnish, rear spoiler and an exclusive ‘Aero Black’ limited edition badge.
Together, these elements create a darker, sportier look while retaining the existing design of the Hyryder. Toyota is also offering an optional dealer-level All Black Package at an additional cost for customers looking for further personalization. The Aero Black Edition will be available only for a limited period and until stocks last.
No changes to powertrain
Mechanically, the Urban Cruiser Hyryder remains unchanged. Customers can choose between the existing Neo Drivemild-hybrid petrol and Strong Hybrid powertrains. The Strong Hybrid version combines a 1.5-litre petrol engine with an electric motor and e-drive transmission, delivering a claimed fuel efficiency of 27.97 km/l.
The Neo Drive range continues with the 1.5-litre K-series petrol engine, available with manual and automatic transmission choices. Toyota also continues to offer a 4WD option with select Neo Drive variants. Prices for the petrol variant ranges from Rs 11.31 lakh to Rs 17.87 lakh while the hybrid variants are priced in the range of Rs 17.18 lakh to Rs 20.19 lakh, ex-sh.
Features remain unchanged
Since this is purely a styling package, the equipment list remains identical to the standard Hyryder. Key features include LED DRLs, 17-inch alloy wheels, ventilated front seats, panoramic sunroof, 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless charger, ambient lighting and a 360-degree camera. Rear passengers get reclining seats, rear AC vents, USB charging ports and a 60:40 split rear seat.
Over 2 lakh sales milestone
Toyota also highlighted that the Urban Cruiser Hyryder has crossed the 2 lakh sales milestone since its launch in 2022. With the Aero Black Edition, the company aims to attract buyers looking for a more distinctive appearance without making changes to the SUV’s powertrain or feature set.
