A viral image allegedly showing a NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) question paper has sparked a fresh debate on social media. The widely shared post prompted speculation about a possible paper leak, forcing the National Testing Agency (NTA) to step in with an official clarification.

The controversy began when an X user named Bibin, who goes by the handle @bibinbaiju, shared a screenshot allegedly obtained from a Telegram group. Along with the image, the user wrote, “Got this from a telegram group, is #NEET paper leaked again ???"

The post quickly gained traction, particularly against the backdrop of ongoing discussions and concerns surrounding NEET examinations. As the image spread across various social media platforms, many users claimed that the booklet shown in the screenshot resembled an actual NEET question paper.

The booklet visible in the image carries the code “23" and appears to be an English-language test paper. The first page features 18 examination instructions and states that the booklet contains 32 pages, including rough work sheets.

It also includes a standard warning instructing candidates not to open the booklet until directed by the invigilators. According to the screenshot, the document appears to have been shared in a Telegram group named “Proofs/Price."

As speculation intensified, the NTA directly responded to the viral post in an attempt to quell rumours. The agency wrote, “This is fake…Please dont circulate..Matter being reported to CyberCrime."

Despite the clarification, the post continued to attract attention and generated a flood of reactions from social media users.

One user jokingly commented, “Bhai telegram ka link bhej do..😅"

Another user expressed suspicion, writing, “Everything is perfect see the timing and the number of question I think the neet paper leaked."

A third user urged caution and skepticism, saying, “gumraah! leak hoga bhi, no chance this time, there is nothing you can do! and dont trust jo QR code ko blur krde,"

Meanwhile, another user wrote, “Send me the pdf I’ll check it 🫩😭"

Some users were less alarmed by the circulating images. One person simply remarked, “Old NEET paper."

The discussion gained further momentum after another image purportedly linked to the examination surfaced online. Sharing the second image, an X user wrote, “This photo is also surfacing on internet..nta should answer."

While social media users continue debating the authenticity of the images, the NTA has maintained that the circulated booklet is fake and has warned people against sharing unverified content. The agency’s statement suggests that authorities are treating the matter seriously and have already escalated it to Cybercrime officials for further investigation.
