According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), heatwave conditions have completely abated across the nation, providing much-needed respite.
HEAVY RAIN WARNINGS AS MONSOON REACHES KERALA DOORSTEP
The weather office noted that conditions remain highly favourable for the monsoon to progress further into the Arabian Sea, Lakshadweep, and parts of Kerala and Tamil Nadu.

FIERCE THUNDERSQUALLS AHEAD AS TEMPERATURES DROP
Turbulent winds are set to sweep through eastern and northwestern India.
The weather office has issued warnings for severe thundersqualls in Odisha, with wind speeds reaching 60 to 70 kilometres per hour, gusting up to 80 kilometres per hour, accompanied by isolated hail.
