Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei is not communicating with any party or person for “specific reasons”.
The revalation was made by the father-in-law of the Iranian Supreme Leader on Sunday.
Haddad-Adel revealed that Mojtaba is just like his father, Iran’s former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, “in every way”.
He went on to express hope that Mojtaba is in “good health” since he does not know about the Iranian supreme leader’s condition.
After this, Mojtaba was appointed as the country’s new supreme leader.

Khamenei “is not communicating with any party or individual for specific reasons,” Gholam-Ali Haddad-Adel said in statements carried by ISNA News Agency. He, however, did not give any further details.

Ali Khamenei, who ruled Iran for nearly 36 years, was killed in a US-Israeli airstrike on Febuary 28. After this, Mojtaba was appointed as the country’s new supreme leader. However, he has not been seen in public since he was elected.
Last month, Tehran and Washington signed a memorandum of understanding that included a ceasefire, following Qatari and Pakistani mediation, as a prelude to reaching a final agreement to end their conflict. Things went downhill on July 8, when US President Donald Trump declared the ceasefire “over” amid an exchange of fire between the US and Iran.
‘No path forward except resistance’: Mojtaba
Amid the brewing tensions in West Asia, the Iranian supreme leader backed Hezbollah’s latest confrontation against Israel, describing the Lebanese armed group’s resilience as a symbol of hope and liberation for oppressed people around the world.
In a post on X, Khamenei responded to a letter of allegiance from Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem and the group’s fighters. “Today, as the nations of the world have grown weary of the tyranny and oppression of the US government and the criminal Zionists, who are the destroyers of lives and generations, there remains no path forward except jihad and resistance,” Khamenei said.
He maintained that Hezbollah’s enduring campaign serves as “an inspiring message for the free nations of the world in their quest for liberation from the oppression and tyranny of Global Arrogance and its proxies.”
He motivated Hezbollah fighters by recalling the legacy of Imam Khomeini alongside the late Former Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. “In line with the policy set by the great martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Islamic Republic of Iran considers the defence of these oppressed yet powerful fighters to be its strategic mandate,” he said.
