Main Vaapas Aaunga continued to perform well on its second Thursday at the box office. The movie collected Rs. 2.25 crore on Day 14, registering a 10 per cent drop from the previous day. The Imtiaz Ali-directed film wrapped up its second week at Rs. 24.25 crore, which is nearly 95 per cent growth from the opening week.

The running cume of Main Vaapas Aaunga now stands at Rs. 34.75 crore nett at the Indian box office. The movie will now face Welcome To The Jungle from today onwards, which might dent its box office momentum. However, both films cater to different audiences, which should work in their favour, and both should sail well.
Still, the movie will need to maintain a strong hold and not drop below 40-50 per cent in the next couple of weeks to bag a successful theatrical verdict. However, that will not be easy, as Main Vaapas Aaunga will keep on facing back-to-back competitions from several big releases: Alpha, Dhamaal 4, The Odyssey, and Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
