Mahindra XEV 9e has been one of the sought-after premium coupe electric SUVs in the country. For many, it struck the right balance between premium equipment, exciting performance and logical pricing. The more recent XEV 9S might start at a lower price point, but it does not bring a similar desirability quotient as XEV 9e with its sloping coupe roofline that stands out among the sea of conventional SUVs. There is more flash value with XEV 9e base Pack One variant over the XEV 9S and it commands a higher price tag.

For starters, XEV 9e gets larger 19-inch steel wheels and these are stylized steel wheels too with dedicated wheel covers that look like alloy wheels. There are similar LED headlights and fog lights as XEV 9S and then we have connected LED DRLs and tail lights with XEV 9e. There is a larger boot with XEV 9e at 663L and then a 150L frunk.

Also, second row seats can be dropped from the boot area itself, which is a neat trick and offered from the base variant. We have flush door handles, auto headlights, rain-sensing wipers, reversing camera, power adjustable ORVMs with turn indicators (not power folding), gloss black body and wheel arch claddings and rear defogger among others.

There are a few soft touch elements on the inside like on the centre armrest and on armrest of door trims. Rear occupants get centre armrest too along with AC vents, two 65W USB Type-C fast chargers, LED reading lights and more.
