Maa Inti Bangaaram collected Rs. 10 crore on its Day 3, registering a 30 per cent jump from Saturday. The opening weekend of the Samantha starrer action comedy wrapped at Rs. 23.25 crore gross at the Indian box office.
Backed by Samantha and Raj Nidimoru, the Telugu film is performing best in its home turf. The movie collected around Rs. 18 crore gross from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana only, with Rs. 10.25 crore coming from Nizam and Rs. 6 crore from the Andhra belt. Outside its state, the movie collected around Rs. 3.75 crore from Karnataka, Rs. 80 lakh from Tamil Nadu and Kerala, while the rest of India contributed around Rs. 60 lakh to the tally.
Directed by B V Nandini Reddy, the action comedy drama collected around USD 1.5 million from overseas, making a worldwide first weekend of Rs. 37.35 crore gross at the Indian box office.
