The project was awarded through a letter of award issued in FY26.L&T Energy Hydrocarbon Onshore (LTEH Onshore) will execute the project on an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) basis.
The facilities will be developed for new onshore installations to process sour gas.L&T's shares were trading at Rs 4100.00 apiece on the BSE as of 9.55 AM on Monday.The project includes gas inlet facilities, gas compression systems, condensate and produced water handling systems, propane refrigeration systems and associated utilities.To meet the power requirements of the gas compression plants, L&T’s Power Transmission & Distribution business will execute two 230 kV extra-high-voltage substations.L&T classifies orders worth more than ₹15,000 crore as “ultra-mega”.
The company did not disclose the exact value of the contract or the name of the Middle East client.Commenting on the project, E S Sathyanarayanan, Senior Vice President & Head of L&T Energy Hydrocarbon Onshore, said: “The contract marks the start of a strategically important project that will add significant gas compression capacity and utility infrastructure.
