Liam Livingstone and Dewald Brevis struck half-centuries as London Spirit defeated Birmingham Phoenix in the battle of the bottom sides in the 2026 Men's Hundred campaign.
Livingstone joined Luan-dre Pretorius, and after the latter fell for 16 off 11, combined with Brevis to take the game away from Phoenix.
Livingstone was particularly destructive, racing to his half-century from just 21 balls, including a 104-metre six, as the pair tore into the Phoenix attack.
Livingstone and Brevis added 103 in only 47 balls before the third wicket stand ended when the Spirit skipper fell for 66 off 30.
Clarke struck five sixes and four fours in his 42-ball 73 before Henry Crocombe broke the partnership, having him caught by Livingstone.

Livingstone's 30-ball 66 included seven fours and four sixes, while Brevis smashed an unbeaten 55 off 31, with five fours and three sixes, as Spirit chased down Phoenix's 162 with 18 balls to spare. The win was Spirit's second of the season, while Phoenix were at the bottom of the table with a solitary win in seven games.
Jonny Bairstow got the chase off to a brisk start, hitting a four and a six before Saqib Mahmood dismissed him. Livingstone joined Luan-dre Pretorius, and after the latter fell for 16 off 11, combined with Brevis to take the game away from Phoenix.

Earlier, Phoenix posted 162 for 4 after being asked to bat, with Joe Clarke and Sean Dickson building the bulk of the innings. Mitchell Owen, Joe Weatherley and Laurie Evans all fell for single-figure scores as Spirit's spinners James Coles and Mason Crane kept the Phoenix batters in check. Clarke and Dickson then changed the momentum with a 92-run partnership from 47 balls.
Clarke struck five sixes and four fours in his 42-ball 73 before Henry Crocombe broke the partnership, having him caught by Livingstone. Dickson went on to bring up a half-century, finishing unbeaten on 51 off 28, with three sixes and four fours, while Donovan Ferreira provided the late acceleration with a six and a four to take Phoenix past 160, though the total proved well short.
