French defender Ibrahima Konaté is set to sign a four-year deal with Real Madrid, according to a report published on AS.
Konaté has reached an agreement with Florentino Pérez and will be a madridista as soon as Pérez wins the elections this upcoming weekend.
His deal will also include an option to extend it for an additional year, per that same report.
Mourinho was informed of the club’s decision to sign Konaté and the Portuguese coach approved it, according to AS.
It will be interesting to see if Madrid decide to add one more defender to their squad.
