Komaki Electric Vehicles has expanded its electric two-wheeler portfolio with the launch of the MG Pro V and MG Pro+ electric scooters, introducing all-metal body construction in the affordable electric mobility segment. Priced at ₹73,999 and ₹79,999 respectively, the new models aim to offer enhanced durability, extended riding range and advanced features while making premium build quality accessible to a wider range of customers.

The launch marks a significant addition to Komaki’s product lineup as the company seeks to address growing demand for electric scooters that combine robust construction with everyday practicality. Unlike many models in the segment that use fibre body panels, the MG Pro V and MG Pro+ feature a full metal body designed to provide greater structural strength, improved longevity and a more solid riding experience on Indian roads.

The MG Pro V delivers a certified riding range of 90–100 km on a single charge, while the MG Pro+ offers a range exceeding 150 km, making both scooters suitable for daily commuting as well as longer urban journeys. Both variants are powered by a BLDC hub motor paired with advanced LiFePO4 battery technology, which is designed to deliver dependable performance, longer battery life and reduced maintenance requirements.

The scooters also incorporate a range of convenience and safety features, including mobile app connectivity that allows riders to monitor battery health and available range. Other standard features include front disc brakes, telescopic front suspension, an anti-theft locking system, parking assist, a repair switch and a spacious riding platform. The MG Pro+ additionally offers a larger under-seat storage compartment to meet the practical needs of everyday users.

Commenting on the launch, Gunjan Malhotra, Co-founder of Komaki Electric Vehicles, said, “India’s electric two-wheeler market is evolving rapidly, and customers are increasingly looking for products that deliver quality alongside affordability. With the MG Pro V and MG Pro+, we have introduced features that are generally found in premium vehicles, including a durable metal body and reliable LiFePO4 battery technology. Our objective is to make superior build quality, dependable performance and modern technology available to a much larger customer base while ensuring the scooters are capable of handling everyday riding conditions across the country.”

With the introduction of the MG Pro V and MG Pro+, Komaki continues to strengthen its presence in India’s electric mobility market by focusing on products that combine durability, technology and value. The new scooters reinforce the company’s strategy of making reliable electric mobility more accessible while raising expectations in the affordable electric scooter category.
