Well, Kia hasn’t officially launched the Seltos yet. However, there are many CNG fitment workshops that have fitted a CNG tank into the Seltos. Sai Fuel Vadodara, a CNG fitment workshop, has installed a CNG kit for the new Seltos and has claimed that the SUV can offer a mileage of 25-28 kmpl on the highway and around 22-24 kmpl in city driving. Those seem like quite bold figures. However, for just Rs 79,000, you can get this CNG kit installed from Sai Fuel Vadodara and manage to get such impressive fuel efficiency figures from your Seltos.

What You Get
As part of the kit, the Seltos gets installed with CNG injectors, a dedicated ECU, a 10 kg fuel tank and a universal valve. To make things convenient, the refuelling nozzle for CNG has been installed right next to the fuel filler cap, so you won’t have to fill CNG through the bonnet. Thanks to the Seltos’s massive boot, the 10 kg fuel tank doesn’t really take up much space.
Sai Fuel Vadodara claims no loss in low-end performance, which is quite impressive. The folks at the workshop will also get the CNG registered for you, so you will be able to drive legally without any issues. We believe that this is one of the best modifications, considering you can get up to 28 kmpl from your Seltos. So, if you have a Seltos with a 1.5-litre NA petrol engine option, this might just be the perfect choice to get more mileage out of your SUV.
