After tying the knot on July 6 in Mumbai, Anshula Kapoor and Rohan Thakkar wrapped up their wedding celebrations with a grand reception on Tuesday. The star-studded event was attended by their family members, close friends, and several celebrities from the film industry. The evening became even more memorable with a live performance by Himesh Reshammiya, who had guests, the newlyweds, and Anshula’s brother, actor Arjun Kapoor, singing and dancing along to his hit tracks.

Among the highlights was Janhvi Kapoor, who brought infectious energy to the festivities by playing the dhol, and joining her were BFF Orhan Awatramani, Janhvi Kapoor’s boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya, and sister Khushi Kapoor.

After turning heads in a stunning saree paired with a backless blouse, Janhvi Kapoor later changed into an elegant Anarkali suit for the festivities. Another moment that caught everyone’s attention was Alia Bhatt’s appearance at the reception. The actress was seen posing for cheerful pictures with social media sensation Orry (Orhan Awatramani). The duo’s photos quickly made their way online, with fans loving their candid and fun-filled moments from the glamorous evening.

The reception, held in Mumbai, was attended by the entire Kapoor family, including Boney Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, and Shanaya Kapoor. Looking dapper in a traditional ensemble, the happy “dulhan ka bhai” greeted the paparazzi with folded hands and happily posed for pictures during the celebrations.

The reception took place in Mumbai amid heavy rains, and in a sweet gesture, Arjun Kapoor requested the photographers to wrap up and head home safely. Before they left, however, he urged them to have dinner and thanked the media for showering love on his sister and covering the wedding celebrations so warmly. His thoughtful gesture has since won hearts online.

Arjun appeared visibly emotional and delighted as his sister celebrated her special day with close friends and family.

The quirky setup, complete with cassettes like Pop of the Pops, added a fun and nostalgic touch to the evening.

In an inside photo, Anshula’s husband Rohan Thakkar was seen dressed in a quirky T-shirt that read, “Boyfriend + Fiancé = Husband, EST. 2026.”
