The final trailer, released May 29, teases the long-awaited Battle of the Gullet including a fiery clash of dragons and ships that showrunner Ryan Condal called “arguably the craziest episode of television ever made.”
Picking up on the brink of open conflict, Season 3 drives the succession fight into all-out warfare between rival Targaryen factions. Based on George R.R. Martin’s "Fire & Blood," the series is set 200 years before the events of “Game of Thrones.”
