It could be the final update before the release of GTA 6, marking the end of an era for one of the longest-running live service games in history.The Kortz Center Heist will be a blockbuster, multi-stage operation that requires you to complete a variety of prep missions. This designation puts it in the same tier as the Diamond Casino Heist, which was a multi-stage operation that required different prep missions before the finale.The setup is going to be equally ambitious this time around. You will have to partner with a mysterious figure named Mr. Faber and his fixer, Raf De Angelis, to stake out Los Santos' premier cultural space. The operation is going to follow the classic GTA Online heist formula: scope the location, do prep jobs, and execute the finale.Getting into the Kortz Center Heist isn't as simple as picking up a phone call. You will need to own a Los Santos Mansion and set up an Art Studio as a space expansion inside it to unlock the heist content.If you haven't purchased a mansion yet, now is the time to sort that out. Once the Art Studio is in place, you will be able to take on stake-out missions, work through the prep phase, and eventually run the finale.Rockstar hasn't released official payout figures for the finale, but given the heist's blockbuster classification and the studio's track record, the numbers are expected to be substantial. The payout will potentially rival the Diamond Casino Heist's top-end earnings.To help you prepare ahead of the July 14 launch, Rockstar is offering a GTA$500,000 bonus simply for logging in, with an additional GTA$1 million bonus available for completing specific in-game tasks before July 13. That's up to GTA$1.5 million in free money, which could go a long way toward covering Mansion and Art Studio costs if you haven't set those up yet.The Kortz Center Heist update will introduce new vehicles to GTA Online this summer, including Supercars as well as Drift-compatible and Hao's Special Works upgrade-compatible options. Rockstar hasn't revealed the full vehicle list ahead of launch, but Hao's Special Works upgrades have historically produced some of the fastest and most sought-after cars in the game.The timing of this update is impossible to ignore.
