Kishan said he felt Gorakhpur looked like a smart city because he had travelled to and seen places across the world.
“I feel it is Spain, I feel it is an amazing place. I feel it is a smart city because I have seen places everywhere," he said.
While speaking about the changes he had witnessed in Gorakhpur, Kishan also took a dig at those who, according to him, could not see the development in the city.
“Mujhe lagta hai, tum andha hain aankh ka to hum kya kare," he said.
Translated into English, the remark meant: “I feel you are blind if you can’t see the development, so what can I do?"
Kishan was speaking about the transformation he said he had seen in Gorakhpur and expressed his pride in the city. His comments came at the inauguration of the newly constructed Kalyan Mandapam in Basharatpur, where he addressed those gathered for the event.
