According to the Play Store listing, “Pixel Audio Services is a system component that provides latest updates and bug fixes of audio modules.”Google explains that this “component is pre-installed on your device and should be kept up to date to ensure a better audio experience.” This package name is com.google.android.apps.pixel.tabby and the latest version is 2026.06.16.932712397_release.

On one of our devices (Pixel 10 Pro Fold), it appeared as an available release on the update list.

The icon is a puzzle piece, just like Pixel Camera Services (which is responsible for bringing Night Sight to supported third-party apps), with a waveform icon overlaid.
