Google is bringing a new AI voice typing feature called Rambler to its keyboard 'Gboard'.
Google announced several major changes at the 'Android Show 2026' held this week. The company now wants to transform Android into an AI-based personal assistant platform. The new updates will include features like Gemini AI, automation in Google Chrome, and AI keyboard.
Along with this, after Chromebook laptops, the company will now also introduce the new Googlebook. According to the company, Android-17 will roll out by June 2026, but other AI features will arrive at different times throughout the year.

Fraud - Will automatically detect and disconnect fake calls
Scammers often call posing as bank employees and defraud people by asking for OTP or account details. Now Android's new 'Verified Financial Call' feature is coming. If the bank's official app is on the phone and a fake call comes, the system will automatically verify whether the bank is really calling or not. If the call is not from the bank, your phone will disconnect the call with the help of AI.
Scrolling - New feature will reduce reels addiction
If you're addicted to reels, the 'Pause Point' feature is also coming. In this, distracting apps can be selected. These apps won't open immediately, there will be a 10-second 'pause'. During these 10 seconds, users can set a time limit for using that app, such as - they can choose the option to run it for only 5 minutes.
Googlebook - Will bring new Android laptop
Google is now working on a new category called Googlebook after Chromebook. This will be an Android-based laptop, which will definitely provide a Windows-like interface, but Android apps will run in window mode. It will have features like Gemini AI, multicolor LED strip, lightweight design... and long battery life.
