YRF Entertainment has officially confirmed it will strip cinematographer Pratik Shah of his credit on the upcoming series Akka.
Shah, who was accused of inappropriate behaviour and sexual misconduct by multiple women last June, recently returned to Mumbai to shoot patchwork footage for the series.
The show, which stars Keerthy Suresh, Radhika Apte, and Tanvi Azmi, is backed by YRF Entertainment, the streaming division of Yash Raj Films.
The studio issued a statement to The Hollywood Reporter India confirming that his name will be entirely scrubbed from the final project.
