A source revealed, “Producer Vishesh Bhatt will unveil the logo of Awarapan 2 anytime soon through a unique digital launch.

The makers are leaving no stone unturned to make it a memorable theatrical outing for the fans, who have been waiting for the sequel for over two decades. As the film enters its final stage, we have fresh deets on its teaser launch and promotional plans.
Pinkvilla exclusively learned that the much-awaited teaser of Awarapan 2 will be launched on June 29, 2026. Interestingly, this date holds much prominence as it marks 19 years of the OG Awarapan, which turned into a cult film over time. The idea is to pay a thoughtful and emotional tribute to the legacy of Awarapan.
However, the team is ready to kick off its promotional campaign soon. A source revealed, “Producer Vishesh Bhatt will unveil the logo of Awarapan 2 anytime soon through a unique digital launch. The upcoming logo reveal will also announce the teaser release date.”
The source also informed, “The makers have planned a month-long promotional strategy of Awarapan 2, ensuring to take the hype and buzz around the film a notch higher.” The logo reveal and teaser will be followed by the music launch, which is said to be one of the biggest strengths of the sequel. The makers have finalised a soulful music album that also includes the reimagined versions of OG chartbusters, Toh Phir Aao, and Tera Mera Rishta from the 2007 film, apart from the newly composed melodies.
For the unversed, Awarapan 2 stars Emraan Hashmi in the lead role, along with Disha Patani and Shabana Azmi essaying the key parts. Backed by Vishesh Films, the sequel is helmed by Nitin Kakkar, known for directing Filmistaan, Ram Singh Charlie, Notebook, and others. Awarapan 2 is slated for a grand release on August 14, 2026, in cinemas.
