After opening with Rs 1.05 crore gross on Friday, Dorothy rose to Rs 1.45 crore on Saturday before recording Rs 1.65 crore on Sunday.
In comparison, Hiphop Tamizha Adhi's Meesaya Murukku 2 recorded a substantially bigger opening weekend, earning Rs 6.05 crore net on its third day and reaching Rs 13.95 crore in three-day India net collections, according to Sacnilk figures.
Nani-starrer The Paradise, which released a day earlier and across multiple languages, was on an altogether larger scale, recording Rs 15.25 crore in India net on its third day and taking its India net total to Rs 76.40 crore.
