Deool Band 2 continued to hold well at the box office. The movie ended its fourth week at Rs. 6.25 crore, registering a 50 per cent drop from the third week. That's a good hold for a film of this budget and scale. The running cume of Deool Band 2 now stands at Rs. 82.75 crore gross at the Indian box office.
The devotional movie has already emerged as a blockbuster venture at the box office. The Pravin Tarde directorial is expected to surpass the lifetime cume of Raja Shivaji (Marathi) in its fifth week and then head towards its theatrical end. The movie is expected to close its entire run around the Rs. 90 crore mark, which will be on similar lines to Sairat and Baipan Bhari Deva at the box office.
The Mohan Joshi, Snehal Tarde, Pravin Tarde, Mahesh Manjrekar, and others-starrer has already emerged as the second biggest grosser from Marathi cinema this year, only behind Raja Shivaji, that too while limited to its home turf only.
