Rashid faced allegations in 2025 after an anonymous woman accused him on social media of rape, abuse and forcibly making her consume beef.
The allegations prompted the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) to register a complaint against him.
The Delhi High Court subsequently sought an action-taken report from the Delhi Police on the complaint.
After an inquiry lasting more than 300 days, the NHRC closed the matter after Delhi Police found no grounds to proceed with an investigation.
