Khalid has been in jail for the past six years in relation to the larger conspiracy case linked to the 2020 North-East Delhi riots.
It was submitted on behalf of Khalid that he was provided with the facility for the past six years.
However, all of a sudden since May 2026 his two e-mulakats were curtailed to one e-mulakat.
Thus, he moved the Court seeking restoration of the second weekly e-mulakat.
Allowing the request, the Court directed that Khalid shall be allowed two e-mulakats every week to speak with his family members.
