On the other hand, DC brings Wamiqa Gabbi back to Tamil cinema after her role in Thiagarajan Kumararaja's chapter, Ninaivo Oru Paravai, from the 2023 anthology Modern Love Chennai.
Since the anthology, Wamiqa has largely focussed on Hindi cinema, with roles in films such as Baby John (2024) and this year's Bhooth Bangla and Pati Patni Aur Woh Do.
