Warrier alleged that Sasidharan made claims concerning her personal life, including that the two had been in a romantic relationship and had exchanged personal communications.
She stated that even after she approached the police accusing Sasidharan of stalking and harassing her, he continued publishing defamatory content about her.
Warrier sought similar directions against Scaria alleging that he published and circulated Sasidharan's allegations by adding his own commentary.
She has also sought directions against Meta to to remove or disable access to such content on its platforms.

"The First Defendant (Sasidharan), being fully aware of the true circumstances, has deliberately suppressed the same and fabricated an entirely different story so as to portray the Plaintiff as a helpless person controlled by others and thereby undermine her dignity, independence and reputation," Warrier added.

Warrier, therefore, approached the Court seeking directions against Sasidharan to remove the allegedly defamatory content about her from his social media accounts and to restrain him from publishing or circulating such content in the future.
