Activision hosted an early access beta for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 last week, giving players who pre-ordered the game on any platform an early chance to try it. However, players who missed the early access period won’t have to wait any longer, as the Open Beta is going live today.
Unlike the first phase, the Open Beta is available to everyone, regardless of whether you have pre-ordered Modern Warfare 4.

According to Activision, the Modern Warfare 4 Open Beta will kick off today at 10 AM PT. Because the start time depends on your location, here is when you can jump in:
Los Angeles: 10 AM PT, August 28
New York: 1 PM ET, August 28
London: 6 PM BST, August 28
Berlin: 7 PM CEST, August 28
Singapore: 1 AM SGT, August 29
Tokyo: 2 AM JST, August 29
Sydney: 3 AM AEST, August 29
Auckland: 5 AM NZST, August 29

What does the Modern Warfare 4 Open Beta offer?
The Open Beta gives players a fairly large selection of content to try before the full game arrives. On the multiplayer side, you’ll be able to play across several 6v6 maps and modes, while also trying Ground War: Combat Outpost and Kill Block.
Activision is also giving players a chance to get an early look at part of the campaign through the “Entrenched” mission. That’s joined by the new Zodiac Resurgence map in Call of Duty: Warzone, giving Warzone players something new to check out during the beta.
Players can also unlock in-game rewards by participating. The good news is any rewards you earn will be available to use during the beta and will carry over to Modern Warfare 4 when the full game launches.
That said, the Open Beta will run for around four days and is scheduled to conclude on September 1. That gives players several days to test the multiplayer, campaign mission, and Warzone content before it ends. For those who enjoy the beta and want to experience everything Modern Warfare 4 has to offer, the full game will launch on October 23.
