Just a few hours after Real Madrid announced on their official website that goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois was going to miss Sunday’s El Clásico, it looks like the Belgian goalkeeper could try to play through his illness and could travel to Barcelona later today if he feels significantly better.
“Let’s see how the hours progress and he starts to feel better.
If so, he’ll fly to Barcelona.
Let’s see if he can recover 100% and rejoins the squad,” an anonymous source told MARCA.
It looks like Courtois might be able to be on the field and a decision will be made later today, assuming that he feels better.
