Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata collected Rs. 1.65 crore on its Day 3 (Sunday), taking the first weekend's cume to Rs. 3.85 crore nett at the India box office. That's a disappointing weekend to say so. The medical thriller drama, directed by Manoj Tapadia, needs to show strong trends on weekdays for a respectable total.
The movie garnered mixed reactions from the audience, which is one of the major reasons why it is struggling at the box office. Had the movie met with a positive reception, it would have seen a much better trend.
Based on current trends, Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata is looking to remain under the Rs. 10 crore nett in its full run, which will be even less than Kangana Ranaut's previous release Emergency, which was itself a low grosser.
That said, Kangana Ranaut will have to wait for a little longer for a Clean Hit venture. Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata is facing a direct clash with Main Vaapas Aaunga, Haunted 3D: Echoes Of The Past, Backrooms, Disclosure Day, and other holdover releases. It will be interesting to see whether the movie can surprise on weekdays or not.
