Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata collected Rs. 1.40 crore on its second day, recording nearly 75-80 per cent growth from the opening day. The Kangana Ranaut starrer took its two-day theatrical run to Rs. 2.20 crore nett at the Indian box office. Though the growth is good, it isn't taking it anywhere.
Directed by Manoj Tapadia, the medical drama is looking to close its opening weekend around Rs. 4 to 4.50 crore nett. The movie needs to show strong trends on weekdays for a respectable run at the box office. So far, the movie is performing lower than Kangana Ranaut's previous release, Emergency. It is likely to crumble around the Rs. 10 crore mark in its full run, which will be a disastrous result for the film.
That said, Kangana Ranaut will have to wait for a little longer for a Clean Hit venture. Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata is facing a direct clash with Main Vaapas Aaunga, Haunted 3D: Echoes Of The Past, Backrooms, Disclosure Day and other holdover releases. It will be interesting to see whether the movie can surprise on weekdays or not.
