BBC travels inside occupied Lebanon as officials say Israel is expanding positions

As it does in Gaza, the Israeli military justifies some of its attacks in Lebanon as operations against what it describes as immediate threats. In many cases, however, it is not clear how immediate these alleged threats are or if there is any threat at all. Hezbollah, which is considered a terrorist organisation by countries including the UK and the US, has not carried out attacks against Israel since the ceasefire came into force, but has targeted Israeli troops operating inside Lebanese territory.
