Bangladesh has reported 1,782 new dengue cases and eight deaths in the past 24 hours, taking the total number of dengue deaths this year to 209 and cases to 69,149, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
Dhaka and Khulna divisions reported the highest numbers of new dengue cases, with 371 and 286 patients respectively.
Meanwhile, five more children have died with suspected measles in the past 24 hours, taking the combined deaths from confirmed and suspected measles cases to 1,081 since March 15.
