Pune-based Autologue Design has now imagined what such a motorcycle could look like with its new NS400Z concept.

As part of its plans to expand the bestselling Pulsar range, Bajaj launched NS400Z in 2024 and has introduced multiple updates since then. But enthusiasts waiting for a fully-faired 400cc Pulsar still don’t have an option from the factory. Pune-based Autologue Design has now imagined what such a motorcycle could look like with its new NS400Z concept.
Autologue has released digital renders of a fully-faired NS400Z bodykit and is currently gauging public response with the question, “Should we build it?” If there is sufficient interest, the concept could potentially evolve into an aftermarket body kit.
Pulsar NS400Z Gets Full Fairing
The transformation is substantial, especially when viewed from the front. NS400Z’s naked streetfighter appearance makes way for a much larger front fairing surrounding the headlamp. It is combined with a tall, dark-tinted windscreen that gives the motorcycle a sportbike/sports-tourer character.
The fairing extends along the sides and continues towards the bottom of the motorcycle with a large belly section. Sharp creases, vents and contrasting black inserts add visual mass, while prominent ‘400’ graphics have been positioned on the lower fairing.
Autologue’s render also shows a more aggressive cockpit arrangement. The conventional handlebar setup appears to have been replaced by a lower arrangement, while stock handlebar-mounted mirrors make way for compact fairing-mounted units. If these changes make it to the production kit, they could give NS400Z a considerably sportier riding position and appearance.
Pearl Metallic White has been used as the base colour for the concept, accompanied by black and red graphics that complement the stock motorcycle’s visual theme. NS400Z is also offered in Brooklyn Black, Glossy Racing Red and Pewter Grey.
The Pulsar RS400 Bajaj Doesn’t Make?
What makes this concept particularly interesting is the gap it could potentially fill. NS400Z currently sits at the top of Bajaj’s Pulsar range, but there is no fully-faired Pulsar using its 400cc-class powertrain.
Autologue’s creation therefore looks almost like an unofficial Pulsar RS400. However, it is important to note that this is an independent Autologue Design concept and does not indicate that Bajaj is developing an RS400.
Most of the underlying motorcycle appears unchanged in the renders. Alloy wheels, tyres, golden USD forks, fuel tank, split seats, grab rails, swingarm and braking hardware appear to have been retained. The render also depicts a different, more conventional side-mounted exhaust setup instead of NS400Z’s stock underbelly exhaust.
Pulsar NS400Z Performance
If developed as a bolt-on body kit without mechanical changes, performance should remain similar to the standard motorcycle. Older Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z is powered by a 373.27cc while the newer ones get a 350cc engine.
For now, Autologue’s fully-faired NS400Z remains a digital concept. Initial responses to the design appear positive, and the company is actively asking enthusiasts whether it should build the kit. If it eventually reaches production, it could offer NS400Z owners something Bajaj itself currently doesn’t – a fully-faired 400cc Pulsar.
