The action drama, directed by Nachiket Samant, collected a mere Rs. 3.50 crore in its 7-day theatrical run. Considering the cast and cost involved, Baby Do Die Do performed reasonably as the movie had pretty limited showcasing. However, the trend is still not that encouraging.
One positive thing for Baby Do Die Do is that it gained a mainly positive reception among the audience, which should boost its sales in the coming days. However, that's not as easy as it sounds, as the Huma Qureshi movie has a fresh competitor every weekend, which will only dent its run.

Alpha, which was released along with Baby Do Die Do, is made on a much higher production scale and has much more star power, but the movie is not gaining much traction at the box office. Nevertheless, makers should keep experimenting, bringing new and original ideas irrespective of the box office result, as this is the only way to make the genre work, one fine day.
