Australia have confirmed the XI the side will use during the second ICC World Test Championship fixture against Bangladesh in Mackay.
Skipper Pat Cummins spoke with reporters earlier on Friday and the Australia skipper failed to reveal the XI the Aussies will use for the crucial second Test as he suggested the possibility of using a four-pronged pace attack that included Scott Boland playing at the expense of veteran spinner Nathan Lyon.
However later in the afternoon and following a pitch inspection, Cummins confirmed that Lyon had held his spot for the match and that Boland would once again miss out alongside back-up keeper-batter Josh InglisRenshaw will open alongside Travis Head for the second ICC World Test Championship contest, with the left-hander to replace fellow southpaw Jake Weatherald who was dropped earlier in the week.
