Dipjyoti Patgiri, a young researcher from Assam, has achieved a significant milestone in the fields of science and space research.
He has received an opportunity to work as a Postdoctoral Researcher at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in the United States.
His achievement has brought pride to Pathshala and Bajali.Dipjyoti is the son of retired teacher Umesh Patgiri and retired teacher Ramani Patgiri.
Later, at IIT Roorkee, he conducted research on the Earth’s ionosphere.After completing his research at IIT Roorkee, Dipjyoti has now got the opportunity to work at the international level in the field of space science and research.
He said that students can achieve success in their careers even after studying in government-run Assamese-medium schools.

He also pursued his studies at the University of Delhi. Later, at IIT Roorkee, he conducted research on the Earth’s ionosphere.After completing his research at IIT Roorkee, Dipjyoti has now got the opportunity to work at the international level in the field of space science and research. He will soon travel to the United States, where he will continue his research as a Postdoctoral Researcher at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, one of the agency’s major research centres.The opportunity to work with one of the world’s leading space research institutions is an important milestone in Dipjyoti’s career.
