Apple has just released the all-new iOS 27.0.1, a software update that fixes the bugs users were facing with the previous iOS 27 release.

This update offers bug fixes for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, which have faced an issue where they could restart when Face ID recognition failed. Beyond that, Apple had acknowledged that a small number of iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max devices could have seen a colour artifact appear on photos captured at 2X. With the new software update, the issue has been fixed.

Opening Notification Center and Control Center simultaneously could cause the touchscreen to become unresponsive in some instances. This issue has also been updated and improved. Beyond the iPhone update, an update is also available for iPad users today.
iPadOS 27.0.1: The release notes for iPadOS simply say, “This update provides bug fixes for your iPad.”
Apple releases macOS 27.0.1 Golden Gate, plus macOS Tahoe 26.7.1
After a batch of release candidates, Apple has now rolled out macOS Tahoe 26.7.1 and macOS Sequoia 15.8.1, in addition to macOS 27.0.1 Golden Gate. Apple’s release notes highlight standard security fixes with the new update, along with performance improvements. However, recent point releases have included significant security patches, many of which address vulnerabilities discovered with the help of AI tools.
