From June 1, eligible beneficiaries can submit their applications online, with the application window set to remain open for the next 90 days. The announcement was made by West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari during a press conference following the Cabinet swearing-in ceremony on Monday.
2 / 7 First Instalment To Be Released After Form Submission: According to the Chief Minister, women beneficiaries will receive the first instalment of Rs 3,000 under the Annapurna Bhandar scheme in their bank accounts on June 3. However, the payment will only be processed after the Annapurna Yojana application form has been submitted. Until fresh applications are completed and approved, beneficiaries will continue receiving funds under the existing Lakshmi Bhandar scheme in their bank accounts.

3 / 7 What Information Applicants Must Provide: The details required for online applications is broadly similar to that sought during the offline registration process. Applicants will need to furnish details relating to their Aadhaar card and those of their family members, PAN card information, bank account particulars, household composition, the number of children in the family, vaccination records of children and details regarding land ownership or holdings. Keeping these details readily available before starting the application process can help avoid delays during submission. Applicants are advised to keep all relevant documents ready before beginning the application process.
4 / 7 How To Apply Online? The online application process is being conducted through the West Bengal government's Social Security portal at https://socialsecurity.wb.gov.in. Applicants must first register on the portal using their mobile number. The Annapurna Yojana application form can then be downloaded in the preferred language of the applicant. After downloading the form, beneficiaries are required to fill it in manually, scan the completed document and upload it back to the portal. The necessary supporting documents must also be scanned and submitted online along with the application form for the registration to be processed.
