The couple issued a strong legal statement dismissing recent reports claiming that they have been living separately for the past one year.The official statement read, “It has come to our attention that certain online, social media and digital platforms are circulating content concerning Ms. Amruta Khanvilkar and her personal life, which is baseless, defamatory and/or in violation of her privacy.”Addressing the spread of unverified information, the statement further emphasised, “While the right to freedom of expression is respected, any misuse of such freedom to publish, circulate or share defamatory statements, rumours, unverified allegations or misleading information… will be taken seriously.”In a stern warning, the legal team added that “wherever supported by available evidence, appropriate legal action will be initiated against individuals, entities or organisations responsible,” while also confirming that all such instances are being “monitored and documented for appropriate legal recourse.”Earlier, a report had claimed that Khanvilkar and Malhotra had been living separately for nearly a year.
